Collective Festival

The Israeli Center for Dance is a place that allows dancers from all corners of the dance world to perform in one place that is brimming with movement, rhythm and emotion. Thanks to the center, dancers are exposed to different styles and cultures, and together, they live in harmony. The center aims to deepen the connection between people from varied backgrounds and cultures by a language of reciprocity,  acceptance, and unification. In keeping with that core message, the idea developed to put together  the Collective Festival. The Collective Festival is a series of performances that merge two different styles into one show. A series of surprising performances that create a new and bold harmony. The titles of the shows are drawn from creatures within mythology—names that are a combination of two animals that created one creature.
